During the studies she focused on chamber music and contemporary music - which is still her main musical interest.

Her project "Mykietyn in Oslo" (premiere of composer's music in Norway) was a big success - famous Polish composer was an honour guest during a concert organised by The Polish Embassy in Norway. The event was a part of Cultural Program of the Polish EU Presidency.

In 2013 Aleksandra played a recital in the Oslo Konserthus to inaugurate the Lutoslawski's Year in Norway.

AUTHOR

Aleksandra Soboń-Wakarecy was an originator of various international projects. Last year her debut album was released by Grammy awarded label - CD Accord Music Edition and is distributed all over the world by NAXOS. The pianist not only recorded the music she has carefully chosen for her album but also created a small music compendium as a cd booklet.

Nordic Light got very good reviews both in Poland and abroad.

An excellent pianist balances perfectly between tenderness, cantilena, piano elegance and simple folk singing or dancing.
